Here is a vine scarf I made for the Shakespeare swap.  (This scarf always reminded me of A Midsummer Night's Dream.)  I was inspired by this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51065.0.  I did use different flower patterns and different flower placement. Thanks for looking!

I actually like yours better than your inspiration. I like the verigated yarn, and the fact that you spaced out the flowers and added more leaves!!!

yes, it is an I-cord that I spool knitted.  It was my first go-around with spool knitting (though I have used the knifty-knitter before).  It is really simple; I know you could get the hang of it.  

I do recommend a spool knitter with metal posts (I bought the Lionbrand version pictured here http://pages.e-yarn.com/6030/PictPage/1921179169.html). My first one was made of all plastic, and one the the post broke half-way through.   Tongue I had to start all-over again. 

If you didn't want to spool-knit you could crochet a thin strip scarf or a small tube.
