I am so addicted to purses & totes! I have been carrying the same one since I made it in September.  It was such a great bag that I couldn't find oen to take it's place.  But it was tan-BORING!  So I found this cool fabric for $1/yard & made myself a new springtime purse with the same pattern.  It's a pattern that I made myself using a "Sewing With Nancy" pattern as inspiration.  It has tons of great pockets & slots inside & on the outside, so it is very practical also.  It cost a total of $4, it was $3 before I bought the wooden button. And I still have enough fabric left over to make a couple of shorts for my daughter.  I LOVE IT! This is my first time to post here, so I'm excited!  Today I'm going to start cutting out summer clothes for my 2 daughters.  My 4 year old has nothing left from last summer that fits her.

Super pretty and I'm all about that price tag. I really like all the pockets, us Moms really need them. Your fabric is beautiful. Congratulations on your first post and this lovely bag!  Grin

Very pretty! I think "splurging" on the button was a good move, it really adds that perfect finishing touch!
