I love the collar, it looks so fluffy! Are the front parts and the back crocheted as one piece, and then sewn up on the shoulders? I like how you can see the rows "bending" backwards on the bottom...

craftewoman: I love the buttons too. I felt so happy when I found them at my small local yarn/sewing shop.
hello color!: (Love your name) The front, back and collar are crocheted as one piece. No seams whatsoever. I started the arms by crocheting around the armholes. I'm very proud of the construction. I've been thinking about doing something like it for some time and after several attempts it worked. I'll knit or crochet something similar more times and perhaps even write down some directions (and images). You can see an image of the back on my flickr page.
