We need all the Cheytown Tute dresses in one place cause every time I see what someone else has done with the idea I want to try it too!

I went digging in my closet for a button down shirt to use and decided on one of my favorite summer shirts. I might regret it later since it was THE only button up shirt in my closet. Here's a pic of the shirt before.

I had some problems along the way (my shirt didn't have a back yoke) so I modified until I found something that worked. The ribbon tie halter was a happy accident because I messed the original up the first time. I paired it with some bows I made last week with the same ribbon.

Really cute.
I love the accident ribbon. It's such a nice accent.
Good job!

Love it!  That is such a cute way to recon an old shirt.  Your daughter is adorable, too!

That is adorable! While I appreciate the credit, I'm not sure I'm so deserving - you've gone and created your own work of genius here! I think I need a tute! (Seriously. I'd love one.) Fabulousness! Smiley

VERRRRY nicely done. And I'm with Cheytown, I think this is a creation all your own. And now I have TWO recon dresses I want to make right now!

Oh, and hope you don't miss your shirt too much. It makes a very sweet dress.
