Here's a beanie I made awhile ago. Probably last year...
Anyway I love it to bits and wear it whenever the weather calls for it.
The green is lion brand wool-ease and the stripes are scraps of caron simply soft

thank you! i knit it in the round, using a basic beanie pattern. I added random stripes of color just for kicks.
