oh my gosh, so many replies! wow, thanks everybody, glad you all like them.
i made three more tonight in just over three hours so maybe they are less detailed or maybe i'm just getting faster, whatever it is i'm happy that it's going a bit quicker. still, i probably won't ever sell them if it means getting paid less than $15/hour. i'm just going to keep giving them away as gifts.

i'll take a picture of the insides for the person who asked. a needle book is a place to keep your needles. i got one from my awesome partner in the owl swap and i use it all the time (i used to stick my stitching needle into the knee of my pants Shocked, dangerous!), they are just so useful. i fell in love and now i can't stop making them!

i would TOTALLY sell these if i were you!! just go around to lil botique style shops and ask if theyre interested!!..as for how much, you said they took from 2 to 3 hours so what is that worth to you? i couldnt figure out how big they actually were, but i totally know youre onto something!! my best friend and i just opened our online store to sell the stuff we love (and love to make i mean!!) people will love it!! good luck!

i don't think that would work, retail is a 100% mark up so if i want to get paid 15$/hr and i make ones that take me an hour, with the store add on they would end up being at least $30. that's really too much for a little needle book, thay are only 2.5 to 3 inches across each way.

i added more pics to the first page...

When I saw the thumbnail of those, I thought you made a 'memory' game[1] out of felt.
[1] In dutch it is called 'memory'. And despite the fact that that is an English word, I only get dutch sites when I google it, so it might be called different in English.
Americans call it "Memory game" too, I wonder why nothing came up. Smiley

Ohh! I kind of figured given the name but I'd never seen one before...and what a great idea besides sticking in your pant (or carpet...like I do Tongue). The outsides are so great! I can't wait to see more pics!
