man, i'm addicted to making these! i can quickly translate nearly any design into felt and make something useful to boot. i've made even more than what's here too, they take between 2-3 hours each (it's all the blanket stitching 'round the edge that take so long). the inside pages are all colour co-ordinated too.
(there are more here too http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=235139.msg2573775#msg2573775)

every once in a while i see something made by someone else and make a needle book based on it. if you see a design similar to one of yours thanks so much for the crafty inspiration! and never fear, i am not selling these anywhere, they are just for fun gifts  Wink.

three more i made last night..

Someone else made one of these and I forgot to ask them but how on earth do you make the tape measure wind back in?

And I love your cute little felt designs.

I think those broke my computer with their cuteness.
So adorable, all of them!

it's a retractable tape measure, you push a button on the side and it winds up. i didn't just roll up a flat tape and stick it in there or anything!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

These are just great!  I've made a very similar looking acorn, but all acorns are pretty much alike.   Smiley

oh, CreativeGenes i'm so glad you like those two! i wasn't sure because they are just so bright but i liked them and i hoped someone else would too. the inside pages are red on both of them.

thanks for all the compliments guys!

well, i guess selling them isn't totally out of the question, i just didn't start making them with that intention. i would only sell the ones i designed myself, or i could use other people's ideas/drawings etc too i suppose. i was thinking about using some of my kid's hillarious art work, bet other parents would love that as well.
how much could they sell for though? they take a while for such a small item, i have no idea what i could charge. hmm...
