Hi!  This is my first attempt at a picture post (I hope it works!).  This is a tank I made a while back out of two pillowcases.  It has four panels, the front and back are both gathered a bit at the top, the side ones are not.  It is insanely comfy and big (I have big girl hips, so the side panels are actually A-line, plus gathers, so the hem is substantial).  This was the first piece of clothing made on my sewing machine, and my first reconstructed anything, so it was a learning experience.  Alright, enough yapping, here's a picture! (that's mostly background...sorry about that):

I love it. I was just looking at buying one of these in the store the other day. I need to make one.

Thanks, everybody!  I'm so happy with it...and it was unbelievably easy to make.

The sides and straps are actually a second pillowcase (the printed one was too small to go all the way around my chest, so I split it up with the blue).  It's just a heavier cotton, but it's still soft.  They both belonged to my husband's grandmother, so they've got that old, many-times-washed softness to them.

Very nice.  This is just what my granddaughter is looking for.  We may have to try this next week over spring break.

Very cute! This gives me ideas, although I'm sure my shirt wouldn't turn out as awesome as yours!

Thanks you guys!  I can't stress how easy this was.  I used a tutorial that I can't seem to relocate...
