custom hoodie help

i have had somebody commission this hoodie from me.

i figured that the body and sleeves are a basic zip hoodie with ribbed cuffs, which i can probably handle.  instead of a zipper, i will extend the front half a bit and put toggle buttons.

the pockets can be fake.  i dont have patience for pockets. 

what i need help with is the hood!  does anybody know of a similar pattern for a hood.  like that?  any advice? (close up picture!)





if anybody can find me a similar fabric, i have been looking all over!  it seems like its a heavy twill, but it needs to be a similar stripe.  any fabric sites that i could check?

hmmm...I don't think I've seen a pattern with that type of closure, but it seems like it'd work if you'd just make a stand-up collar with the buttons, and then attach the hood on top of that...just make a regular 2-part hood with a slightly narrower neck....does that make any sense?...lol...it does in my head, but making it happen might be a different story...
