Seeing these I am now detedrmined to learn to crochet. My sister and I love LOTR and giving her one as a toy would be the greatest gift ever!!

You should learn, it's easier than it looks.  Well, amigurumi is, anyway, there are tons of great tutorials on this board, too.  I think the secret to making the characters is finding the right yarn color!

These are so great. How long did it take you to finish a set?  And are all the accessories sculpey or did you use other stuff too?  My husband and baby on the way will love these.  Thanks for the inspiration.

These are just friggin' adorable, and so amazingly detailed. I squealed out loud when I saw them. (especially Gimli! I love his little helmet!) You and your boyfriend did such an awesome job. Maybe you should continue onto Rohan...little Eowyn, little Eomer, little Theoden, little Grima...just a thought! Wink
