The Fellowship of the Ring, amigurumi style! EDIT: PATTERN LINK!

Alright!  Last time I posted my amigurumis here, I only had the four hobbits done.  Well, they got a complete makeover, and I finished the rest of the set!  My boyfriend helped with these (he is a surprisingly good pattern maker, and he did any and all painting/sculpey work...I guess I really didn't do that much work after all).  But it was my idea!  That counts, right?  I sewed all of the clothes and did all of the crochet work, and that took a lot of time.

All of them are amigurumis with felt clothes.  My boyfriend painted some of the felt to simulate the embroidery, I think it turned out great.  All of the accessories they have are sculpey.  Stuff like Gimli's helmet, Legolas' quiver and bow, and Boromir's horn are crazy.  I have no idea how my boyfriend made those, but I am glad that he is as obsessed with the Lord of the Rings as I am.

Anyway, these guys all have stands, but I have since found that weighing them down is better (duh, of course after I finish the whole set).  I won't bog down this thread with a thousand pics, but there is at least one pic of everyone on my flickr thingy, in case anyone is interested.  Here are some of my favorites, please tell me what you think!




Okay, I made Gandalf's staff, (the only sculpey thing I made) and I am so proud of it.  His pipe fits inside of the staff!  If you squint, you can see it.
