I love the gourd ornaments!  Smiley I think it would be a great thing for kids to make.

What type of paint did you use?

I like the idea to jazz up the wine bottles as well - it is always hard to make bottles into interesting presents!

I just used those small bottles of acrylic craft paint--nothing special. Then I sprayed them with a clear coating.

The gourd ornaments are a great idea - I'm guessing furry animal and kid friendly!

I love the cork tassel. Looks great on the bottle.

Very nice.  I definitely like the cork ornaments.  First on the wine bottle, then on the tree.  Very cool.  It would be especially cool if you used the cork from a special bottle of wine/champagne (anniversary, wedding, bday, etc).
