My lil sis just moved to Philly with her fiance, she is on kinda a budget, so what are some good thrift stores in the Philly area (she lives in Media, her fiances fam lives in West Chester).
Also, I am going to visit her this summer, so I need to know all the places to check out.

I live in Ardmore --thrift capital of the burbs (inside joke... they keep tring to revitalize my town, but there are 6 thft stores within 10 blocks of each other) Just head down Lancaster Ave (rt 30 east) heading towards the city (east from west chester) some names are Browse around shop/ pennywise/ the Jr League Thrift Shop/
There are even 2-3 thrift shops in fancy Wayne (closer to you;west of Ardmore)

I haven't ventured very far, but there's always Michael's, JoAnn's, and AC Moore.  Also in the city, there's Fabric Row which just a block or two over from South Street.

Hope that helps!

the best thrift store, in my opinion, is village thrift right in cherry hill, nj. it's absolutely huge and there's a goodwill that's not too far away too that i've always found neat stuff at.

authentic vintage clothing, 40's - 70's.
