Hello all I'm looking for opinions.  I just want to know who your favorite knitting stores are.  I'm wanting to expand my yarn and needle collection.  Online is my best bet since the only knitting supplier here is Wal-Marts  Undecided  Unless of course I'd like to drive an hour to the nearest Joann's.  I do like Joann's website but I'd like to support smaller businesses.  And now I'll step away from the soapbox before I start ranting. Grin  Anyway I'm really looking forward to everyone's opinions.

I really like www.littleknits.com  she is so friendly and I almost feel like writing her a thank you note when my yarn arrives  Smiley  Plus there is a huge variety of items and price points.

I second Littleknits!  Lots of great product, great prices and excellent service.

Equal in my love to Littleknits is Webs, www.yarn.com.  I also make a few trips out to their store every year.

Sarahsyarns.com is where I buy Zephyr.  I swear I have the DK in every color Smiley

The incredible Etsy is always a good place to find lots of different handspun and/or hand dyed yarns made by individual artisans, along with some pretty unique needles.

As for more store-like stores, I've had good experiences with Knit Picks, Yarn Market,  Elaan, and Webs.

"Oh well we sometimes feel we're to blame in some way for what our gran's become. I mean she used to be happy here until she, she started on the crochet.
Now she can't do without it. Twenty balls of wool a day, sometimes. If she can't get the wool she gets violent. What can we do about it?"
