Hello,
I made this bag using some gorgeous Alice in Wonderland fabric I found on Ebay and with the help of this tutorial from the U-Handbag Blog.
I had never tried piping before so this was a good challenge. I think I did it ok on most parts but next time I think I would get a better result if I made it more "snug". I used iron-on interfacing on all fabrics except the lining and there is also some heavy sew-in interfacing in there so the bag is really sturdy (but it was hard to sew through on the handle loops because there were so many layers of fabric etc so just a warning if you want to make this bag Wink).
On with the photos...

Full frontal.

The front is a pocket with a magnetic snap. This lined up perfect!

The back.

Close up of Alice in Wonderland Fabric in case anyone was interested.

I love the colours together.
What do you guys think?

Thanks for looking!

You scored big with that fabric, and the colors you chose to compliment it are dead on.

Hi hun,

Not only is the fabric great, but so is the bag....did you design it yourself or follow a pattern?
