Basically, Animal print fabric, batting, and some solid blue fabric.  I machine quilted around each animal and some of the bigger shapes.

It's about 30" by 45".  I started it as a baby quilt, but now I want to keep it for me.  The machine quilting took a long time, but it was great practice, which is actually why I started it!  I wanted practice following lines that weren't straight...

You can see some of my wavering lines... the awesome thing is, you can't really tell unless you just look really closely.

And the back:

You can kind of make out some of the animal shapes on the screen.  It's easier in person.

This is a gorgeous quilt. Looks like a ton of hardwork and tedious sewing. I definitely would not give that away.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

Thanks for all the great comments!!

I got the fabric at Ikea -- it was super cheap, and I love the bright colors.  It was not as hard to do as I thought it would be, but it did take many many hours.  At points I had to force myself to just quilt for an hour because otherwise I never would have finished it!

I think I might try making another one, with different fabric.  Although, the animal print is really cute.
