Hi everyone,

I've been searching the internet and craftster for a fairly simple batwing/flutter sleeve tutorial. Is it somewhere on this site and I'm just missing it? Does anyone know of a link? Or maybe someone could give me a quick tute!  Smiley

Any help would be great. I really like the look of batwing/flutter type sleeves and would love to give a top with them a try.

Thanks in advance!  Grin

Hi there!  This page shows the outline of a batwing sleeve:

It should work if you fold your fabric, cut two of those out (on the fold), and then sew up your seams and finish your edges.  There are probably also more complicated ways of doing it.  Good luck!  A good tutorial on flutter sleeves (in various lengths) would be a marvelous idea, but as I've never sewn them, I'm not the one to write it.

Sewers are for ninja turtles--seamstresses are for sewing Wink
