I Forgot all about this piece, but I rediscovered it the other day.  I took a photo of Dorothy's Ruby slippers, with the wand of the "good witch," and made it into a pattern.  I tried to do this on plaid, which seemed like a good idea at the time.  Regret it a bit now, but I still think it's kinda cute!  Note the TINY little bows made of the smallest ribbon imaginable.  They were Excruciatingly fidgety to make right, lol.

I sewed this onto a canvas bag.  I think I'd use the pattern again, in a different context, (aka...not plaid, whatwasIthinking?)

Edit: also rediscovered: one vintage maroon cardigan which I embroidered with a pink flamingo.  Never fit me (it's tiny), so I should find it a home, lol.

Anyhow, thanks for looking!

I love those ruby slippers. They look great even on the plaid it reminds me of Dorothy's dress. Great job.

That is adorable! I love the sparkle in the slippers, and you did a perfect job on the bows. Are those beads on the wand, or french knots or what?
