Saw this on the main page and...wow! So effing cool

Also makes me glad I only cross stitch. If I was able to crochet I would feel instantly obligated to make this for my sister-in-law   Wink

well done

i love this. it's so great to see refreshing crocheted items. i only know crochet, unlike most of the craft community who knows knit, so all the cool stuff is knit only. i love it! it makes me want to crochet something completely out of the crochet-norm.

Ah but whateverjames, it doesn't let you off the hook to only cross stitch because the Marilyn graph I used, (on previous page), was originally for cross stitch so you still can make one for your sister-in-law!  LOL! Cheesy

I can't knit either. That's why I taught myself the tunisian afghan stitch. I wanted to make afghans with pictures on them. You can make anything that's graphed.

I have a gallery of finished ones in my blog. (Please see link below in my signature).

Wow. I showed this to my roommate who is very anti-afgan ("too granny") and she has officially changed her opinion to "too granny, unless it's a Warholian Marylin Monroe," which, I guess is a start. This rocks.
