I've been stalking around the discussion on this since its inception and I know that once I post here I open myself up for cries of "C'mon, what's one more swap", but I do think I will totally keep my eye open on this one.

So I have a shoe box sized pile I want to put in my tin.....think those space bag vacuum things work on tins?

Wouldn't that be something. 

I'd love to get a big fat tin full of vacuum packed goodies!

Wee heard back from Rackycoo and I'm in! I have some stuff I've been dying to use. BUT I have never decorated an altoid tin before (double wee!). Is Mod Podge a good adhesive for gluing paper etc., to the metal do you think?

I use ModPodge, and it works fine. Don't use the glossy version though, it's sticky and will adhere all your ephemera to the inside in nasty ways.  Use the matte finish. Someone mentioned also that there is a Mod Podge just for paper, but I haven't tried that one yet.

ok I did - i sent in my information - as usual, my feelings of craftster swap inadequacy pop up - but I am just gonna go for it - On my way to send off the items from my last swap - and while I am indefinitely laid off from my job some of my
' resolutions ' were to create more and join up as friend of craftser!  which I plan on doing friday when my next unemployment check comes -

I do have some great ephemera, I must say - I volunteered at our local good will - to keep busy and there are some great things that come in the public never gets to see!!  Also - here is a tip: flip through all those old books - people tend to stuff all kinds of things in them! 

I am very excited!  and am going to get started!
