Inspired by Craftster, Corizan the Poppet

I personally hate most runway fashion. I feel like many designers should come take a peak around here and see what real women and men are designing to wear.
I'm not a large girl at all but I still have frustrations in finding things that fit my body, and look good at the same time. (being pear shaped does that to a girl)
Thanks to this forum I no longer live in fear when I buy or make clothing. I have learned a bit on how to shape things and even make them from scratch.
so My entry is a tribute to all of you who write tutorials or even give us clues to how you make your items!

Corizan's skirt is made totally from scraps I had saved since the I love my Poppet Swap! I used a very simillar method to make mine sewing the scraps onto strips of ribbon that was an inch wide, then sewing the strips together.
Her shirt is craftewomans shirt pattern as I wanted the top to be simple but still go with the outfit.
Her belt is made from real ties I've had saved for crafty purposes. I followed that tutorial exactly.
Her necklace is made with some unlabeled wire and glass beads I've had in my stash.
Her hair clips are "quilt hem clips" with adorable sakura flowers sewn on.

I may update this tonight with pics of her shoes but even if I don't get them to work I wanted to credit sunshyne and thank her for giving me the idea. I've so far tried 4 times and I've come close I just don't know if I'll get them done or not.

Wow! I really like that outfit, I would wear that myself! I like the little waist cincher thing, you did a nice job on it, it looks pro!

i think my favorite part is the dress of scraps.  amazing on a large or small scale!

I LOVE the little spider! I like the fact that its legs aren't beaded like is so often done in beaded spiders. I want to go make one for me now!

I was going to bead them with tiny seed beads but it looked really strange. I wanted it to be delicate and light like a real spider. Thanks for the compliment!
