So I crocheted years ago, but I got frustrated when I found out that I couldn't crochet right.  So I turned to knitting.  Although I still love to knit, I've always wanted to make one of those amigurumis.  So, I bought a book called Amigurumi! by Elisabeth A. Doherty and finally figured out how to crochet!

I made "The Mighty Lil' Mouse" out of the book, and it didn't turn out too bad.

Isn't he just the cutest?

I hate my camera

I'm also proud to say that I stuffed it with a plastic A.C. Moore bag.  He only took me about 3-4 hours to make, and now he lives with my roommate, who is insisting I make more.  So, that means more are to come.

Fun!
I just got that book too, but haven't made anything from it yet. Now I really want to make my own little mouse! I think yours is even cuter than the one in the book.

Super cute mousie! Well done for persisting, it was well worth it.  And I agree, the mouse on the book cover looks a little weird, yours is much cuter.

It really came out cute! Way to go!
I've only made the oreo cookies out of the book (it's a great book isn't it!)
So do you have another crochet project in mind?
