Made this for my SIL's birthday on the weekend, using a purchased mold.  Painted it with brown paint mixed with metallic gold, used the same on lace to edge the face.

Very nice!!  She must have been really happy to get such a beautiful and personally-made card.  Great way to use the cast from a mold too  Grin and love the idea of painting the lace and using the metal corners (hope you made a polymer mold from one of those corner pieces before you sent it off so you can make more!).   Very classy.

Diane, I didn't even think of that, what a great idea.  I'll have to buy some more just for that purpose, or better still design my own.
