Well, you see, it's got such a long crafting period, and you only need to make one medium and 4 to 5 small items, depending on what you are making (1 stitch marker does not equal one small item, obviously... Grin)
and send outs are MAY 5th... it's going to be a very laid back swap!

You should totally do it.

Is my peer pressure working??

yes!! shush!!  Tongue

It's more that I'm concerned about cost, *nice* yarn over here costs a small fortune, I'd be looking at 10ish for a decent ball  Undecided

Though, on the upside, I could get a US partner who could send me some nice pretties...

ARGH!

Does Knitpicks ship to the UK? They've got nice (cheap) yarn. That's probably where I'm going to order mine from.

nope  Cry

I'm gonna have a mooch around in my (several) 100 bookmarks and see if I can find a decent/cheap source...  I know there's a place called something lovely like "cheap yarns online uk"  Roll Eyes

I got slightly distracted when I found out there's a HUGE fabric store like 5 minutes walk away from my flat!!!  I might have to start sewing more...  but yes, yarn, pretty, cheap, nice yarn  *is now on a mission*

I'm blaming you, yes you, all of you!  Grin

Usually we get partners within 24 hours of swap sign ups closing, the organiser will generally try and match people with what they want and what others can make  Smiley
