Look! It's done! I made this for a friend who was having a girl. This is much more girly than I'd normally make, but I think it's a success.

This quilt is a reminder of why I'm a fabric snob. I bought low quality fabric because I was in a hurry. It stretched goofy and, in general, was awful to work with. You can see how poorly my seams line up. I promise - I'm not normally that crappy Smiley

The quilting in the corner

I put up a tutorial here: http://needyl.com/node/6 (I'm still working on building the site, but the info is good.)

I think your baby quilt turned out great.  I myself have trouble with the pieces lining up.  But hey it's made with love for someone who means something to you. Now if you were selling your quilts then you could worry about them lining up.  I think your friends daughter will charish it forever cause it was made just for her. I do enjoy the stitching around and on the quilt itself. I think you did a great job and would like to have a friend of mine to make my newborn something made with love and so pretty.   Grin

Everything I make is made with LOVE !!
