I feel bad I've been neglecting the knitting board here so I figured I'd post some FO's to show some love.

First up the Airy Lace Wrap from fitted knits

Mods: I shortened the ties by at least 2 feet and knit a hole in one side to thread a tie though. I also lengthened the body by one cable repeat.

Excuses from Magknits

Mods: I left off the ties (too busy for my taste)

The Sugar Plum Shrug from IK Holiday 2007

Mods: I knit this in yummy soft cashmere (bought on sale 50% off at WEBS) instead of scratchy mohair

Yes my dog loves getting in my frame when I take pictures.

And since I have so many new sweaters I knit one for the puppy too!
Warm and Woolly from Doggy Knits

Mods: Added stripes, lengthened the ribbing on both sides by 2 inches

Great Job, I love the Magknits one (I found the pattern, and I think I'll have to give it a try too).

The MagKnits one is absolutely gorgeous.  All of them are well done, but Excuses is definitely my favorite.  I've added it to my "to-knit" list Smiley

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'll pass the kind words on to the puppy too. Excuses is a great simple top down pattern that makes for good TV knitting. And the wrap sweater is knit on US 13's so it takes less time then one would think.

Your sugerplum shrug is wonderful!  I actually found it on ravelry the other day when in persute of the perfect shrug pattern to go with the wedding dress I'm making.  It looks amazing when fitted and in a more substancial yarn choice.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the compliment. The pattern is actually a fitted one it's just that the model is wearing a shrug that is two sizes too large.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
