Hi there!  Smiley
This is my first post, and I'm kinda intimidated by all of you... Crafter is such a big, creative and awesome community: Because of you, I began to sew now! <3

This is my second project.
The first one is a plain totebag, too plain xD;
I had to do it 2 times, since the first time I cut my bag too small for the zipper x__x;
There is many imperfections, but for a second time, I'm pretty proud of it ^^
First time sewing a zipper, a good one ^0^

I used the tutorial here :
http://www.instructables.com/id/Potato-chip-bag-pencil-case/

Easy to follow for a begginer like me!
Hope you like it, comments and suggetions really appreciated Wink

Oh, I forgot to mention! I didn't use vinyl, instead I used some transparent and self-adhesive sheet from 1$ shop, it works so perfectly! ^^

What a great idea!
I think I'll start collecting some empty bags to do more thing like that. It's easy, fun to do, and the result is nice to see!

Thank you for commenting, I really appeciate it  Wink

I love the idea of using lamination or contact paper instead of vinyl! Just one question: Did the needle get sticky from sewing into the sticky paper? Even though it is adhered to the bag the sticky stuff is still there...

Oh, no it didn't, I never thought about that oO
I stuck it well enough on the bag, leaving no air bubble, and it was fine. Smiley
But the sheet wasn't THAT sticky, I could remove it if I wanted to, but now it's sewed so it won't move. ^^

OK thanks. I made a duck tape dummy and the pins got super sticky when I would pin something to it.  Roll Eyes

I'm loving the polka dot lining. I'm going through a polka craze atm.
