Hi all!  Been visiting Craftster as a guest for sometime now, so last night I finally decided to register as a member.  I haven't been sewing for a long time...I've certainly learned a lot from reading these forums and all the wonderful tutorials.  It must feel good to share one's creations and receive comments about a work well done.

The photo link below is of a quilted patchwork bag I worked on the past two to three days.  I used different cotton fabrics in various blue shades and lined the bag with denim. (Please take time to check out the link as this being my first time to post, I am not allowed to upload pics yet  Sad).

Looks small but then it expands to this.

The bag is roomier that it actually looks.  I patterned this from an old leather patchwork bag that I love but is now too tattered to use.  If you'd like to see a photo of that one and read a little about its history, I blogged about it here:

For a non-sewing expert like me, I would consider this a respectable effort  Grin.  Hope you do too.  Would appreciate comments!
