This rocks! (pun intended)  Smiley  I love it!  I want to make one so much!  Can you explain how you felt the "stones"?  I don't get it - is there an instructable somewhere?

I just had to rip up the carpet in our bedroom due to tornadic weather -heavy rains, and me leaving the windows open.  I would so love a huge one of these!  I swear to God though, that I will not embrace yet another type of craft, nor a new project until I finish all the ones started and written in my book.  But, damn you have my mind reeling with the thought.  Fantastic job!  Love!

That is soooooooooooo cool!  I have to make one!  Can you tell us how?  I know you got the idea from somewhere so I'm not sure about the copyright and all.   BUT I must have one of these and I have a ton of leftover wool.  Did you knit it into balls first?  Was it yarn or just the fiber?  Can you tell how much I am in love with this?   Grin
