Thanks Tepperwear!  The gift-ee loves it.  It is holding up well, even though her cats quite enjoy it.

I haven't gotten around to doing a second one yet.  I have started on felting the balls but it is in a very preliminary stage right now...  Cheesy

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

That is amazing!  It is amazing what you can do with "scrap" materials!

Wow!  I love this.  Anything to do with nature and the fact that it is soft enough to stand on comfortably is a great plus.  It looks so real.  You did an awesome job on it.  Yes, you will have to make one for yourself.  I'm off now to see how many pieces of scrap wool I can find.

I totally want to make one of these, just so I can roll around on it while laughing maniacally. Everyone will think I've lost my mind, and maybe it will be true...but it'll be so worth it.

So. Worth. It.

This is amazing.  I've thought about trying felting.  This makes me want to go out and start working on it!

I wonder what would happen if you did this to cover a chair...maybe it would be like a mini-back massage?
