These are some pics I took of my daughter when she was about 1 1/2 (now 3) I love black and white pictures! These are done on an old 70's cannon I bought from a pawn shop in Vegas (someones ticket home after loosing their lot Tongue) Here she is my lil angel Aja.

so they are not super amazing or anything but they capture her innocence.
thanks for looking Grin

I'm so glad you chose to use window light for these shots. There's something about babies and natural lighting that makes a photo so sweet.

Incidentally, I have a similar photo of my cat wearing pearls sitting by a window.  Too bad a didn't have any little angel wings to put on her.

Haha, omg.
I was named after the Steely Dan song "Josie" because my parents heard it the day they brought me home... that's why I asked about her name because of the song :p

Just gorgeous.  You'll, and she will, cherish these 4evr.  The fav pics of my son, I have taken.  So much better than the school ones, or "professional" ones.  Did you make the wings?  Oh, old Steely Dan fan here, and she is beautiful.

Again, those photos are fabulous. Very professional looking as well. The first is my favorite.

I also wanted to ask you, did you make those wings? Being such a birdy lover, I really appreciate that they're not made of feathers. I've never seen arranged leaves like that, and I'd really like to create this effect. I'm guessing these are fabric leaves?

Thanks! Please do.

I want to create an "earth angel" costume for an upcoming event, and that wing design would work perfectly. It may be as simple as unwinding a wire hanger, bending it into shape and layering the fabric leaves with a hot glue gun. Tag a few more leaves onto a dress, add a wreath halo, and presto I'm an earth angel.  Cheesy

Here are the wings...the pen is pointing to where the wire ends.

both sides (front & back) are the same and the wires meet in the center and there is 2 pieces of foam(the kind you can buy that comes in the squares like felt) for support and to make an easier attachment for a leaf on either side.it also has the foam in between the leaves on the wings and it seems to be done with hot glue.  I hope that helps! good luck with your costume it sounds very cool I look forward to seeing it Cheesy
