so I knit this in the fall, and am finally posting it, now that it's not hat weather, anymore.  Go figure.

the cinchy hat from knitscene fall 07.   sucky in the bathroom pictures.  Oh well.   Wink I used size 7 needles, even though the pattern called for 6's, and I used lionbrand Woolease.  I'm very proud of my hat!  I added the button of the little girl, because they just seemed to belong together.  I bought the button at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago, this summer, and I'm trying to remember the name of the artist, so that I can give her her due!

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

I like the simplicity. Are the colors brighter or more subdued? Your pictures have two ways of telling the same story. Smiley

Also I love your avatar. Natalie Dee can be a little too dirty for my taste, but that one is funny Cheesy

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Actually, the color is between the two.  Kind of 1970's style colors.  I tried to photoshop it, but that was a disaster.  Maybe I should take a picture outside, in natural lighting.  When it's not 1:50 am, that is!

Cute hat!  I am wishing I would have bought that mag. now.  I've been trying to be picky about the knitting mags I buy, so they don't just pile up.   I really like it alot!

Sweet! Love the hat!  I have the pattern here mocking me because I haven't gotten around to making it.
