My sister liked a bag I made for her forever ago.... It wore out and so I made her a new one. It's new on the inside and scraps of this and that on the outside.  It was floppy with LOTS of pockets as she requested. Sorry these pictures are a little dark...the color is truer in the bottom picture.

On to the pics!

Thanks for checking my post out!

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

You haven't had enough coffee until you can thread your machine while it's running!

I absolutely adore denim. It's my favorite to work with.

This is really neat!  Have you ever taken apart a pair of cargo pants?  The side pockets on the legs are awesome because they have velcro/button closures already on them.  I really like the fabric you lined this bag with.  Were all of the denim pieces about the same weight?

I have taken apart cargo pants. I turned them into a gardening pouch for my dad and also made back of the chair "stuff holders" for my daughters old teacher too. The kids didn't have cubby desks.

As for the weight of the fabric, some of it was heavy, some light. It is all sewn onto muslin for security but also every piece of fabric has a full piece of scrap plus what sticks out to sew the next piece onto....does that make sense?  Huh

I didn't want it to split at any seams so there is a at least 2 layers of denim everywhere and then muslin in between the denim scraps and the liner.

Yeah She always gets so many requests on that bag. That is definately the popular one. The perfect squares are boring to people...they like my "garbage" bags.
