I just receved another package from dragonflyducky today! Some lovely angora from her own bunny. (that didn't make it into the first package) It's sooooo soft, I can't wait to try spinning it! She sent a beautiful orifice hook and some cute japanese cookies too.

What an awesome swap partner! Grin

WOW!  Great yarns so far...


Here's my first from batts from frankierevolver:





I spun one batt up kinda chunky and slubby, but I think I am going to spin the rest up fine, and ply with some silk I have to make some cool glitzy sock yarn!  I will post again with more pics!

I decided to use Laminathegreat's roving and some of my own roving to try out a cabled 4-ply yarn.  Turned out pretty cool!  The blue/green ply is the one that is from this swap. 


Calico  100% superdupersoft merino, 127 yd, 3.8 oz.

And here's a closeup, so that you can see the groovy cabled structure:

well, I finally finished spinning the rest of the beautiful batts frankie sent me:

I plyed with some solar dyed silk top from my stash.

Its about 400 yards, 5 oz, and 12 wpi.  I am planning on making a forest canopy shawl for my mom

I am loving spinning up all this great fiber from this ongoing swap!!
