Shirt that I made from one of my bf's.  Those lines aren't really there, I guess there was something on my mirror.

I made the top to wear to our midwinter, because it's more like going clubbing than a school dance and I had nothing to wear.

Stunning, what pattern did you use for that shirt?
I didn't really use a pattern, i kind of made it up as i went along.
All  I did was cut off the sleves and top of the shirt, and then made it smaller and cut off about 4 inches of the bottom.  Then I took what I cut off of the bottom and sewed it to the neckline.  After that I took the fabric that was left from the sides after resizing it and sewed it down the inside as casing for the ribon.  Then I hemmed it up and cut some slits for the ribbon to come out the bottom, and voila!

I got the fabric for the dress at JoAnnes

Yeehaw!  I have finished my first skirt!!!!




I have been using McCall's pattern #3857 and I am having a blast - making myself a whole new wardrobe of skirts!

This one was tricky cuz the fabric is slinky so the hem is a little uneven.
