I was bored this evening so played a bit with crocheting, this little guy is somewhat inspired by a beaded spider I received from JessVict in a swap I think I need to find my black thread to do another.

I'm not really a crocheter but am having fun with crochet anyway Smiley I took one photo with the flash and one without and the 20oz coke cap is included for scale

That would be awesome in black and red (Black Widow)

Though, it's pretty awesome in white, too. Great job! Smiley

LOL I'd have to learn terminology to post a tutorial and I can't read a pattern to save my life, much less write one.  I have a few friends trying to teach me but at the moment I'm completely visual I just play with thread until it makes a shape that resembles something that remotely looks like what I wanted to make. (I don't even know if I make sense lol)  If I work out what the terms mean I can maybe write something up Smiley

WOW   for "not really being a crocheter" your little spider is AWESOME!  Sometimes, even being able to read patterns doesnt give me great results like this!

Wow!
That is one itsy bitsy spider.
He is so cute.
I have just taught myself crochet but I don't think I'd dare go anything that small yet.
You did an amazing job
