gorgeous! I love the yellow ribbon. What kind of clasp is that on the purse?

This is an absolutely perfect set; I'd be thrilled to get it as a gift. I love the wallet especially. I want to make a fabric wallet, but it's intimidating. Did you find it to be hard?

I don't need a baby growing inside me for nine months. For one thing, there's morning sickness. If I'm going to feel nauseous and achy when I wake up, I want to achieve that state the old fashioned way: getting good and drunk the night before.

Thanks for all the compliments!   You're all so sweet!  Smiley

Anenli -  Here's the clasp:  http://www.buttonsplus.com/products/images/Buckle-3000-4795.jpg.  The central bar turns 90 to open.  I attached it with the yellow ribbon.  It looks cute but doesn't really close the purse very well.

Uteristic - Here's how I made the bow http://www.offray.com/65c.html -- only I didn't pull my center as tight.  The rest of the ribbon was just sewed on very carefully as close to the edges as I could.  The stitches almost disappear!

Katier - I started off trying to make vinyl wallets and they'd always be slightly off in one way or another...  this one was easier than the vinyl ones, especially because I forced myself to keep it simple.  I failed too  many times and couldn't take it any more!  haha.  I'll be happy to PM you a mini-tute if you want!

I love them both! Especially the wallet. I've been trying to get up enough nerve to attempt a wallet.  Could you also PM me the tute? Thanks.

That's interesting, as Joann's had vinyl on sale this week (25% off--damn that's nice). I was tempted to try making a wallet from it, especially considering my slight fear of actually trying a fabric one. If you could send me a simple tute, I would be extremely happy! I would also love some rough estimate of your dimensions. Did you just work around a bill and some credit cards? Thank you so SO much for offering!
