I picked up a set of striped full size sheets at a thrift shop a few weeks ago for about $2.00. I also found two 1 yd pieces of material, one pink with polka dots and one with giraffes on it, for $1.00 a piece and I came up with these dresses. I hope you like them.
First is the dress I made for my niece Reagan. Her favorite animal is the giraffe. No action pics yet, but my SIL is sending some soon. Yay!

Next is for my niece Caity. She is very girly and loves all things pink and twirly.

Back of the dress with better lighting.

And now, dress #2 for Caity. A reversible smock-style dress.

Comments welcome and thanks for looking!!

Oh, wow, quite a large production, and they are all lovely!
I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, I really like them all, I like the fabrics themselves and the combos.

Those are gorgeous! Is there a pattern for the third one? I'd love to make one for my daughter.

These are all so cute I can't decide which one is my favorite!  Great job.  On the last one did you use the Anna pattern or freehand it?

I used Butterick 5019 for the last dress. I wanted to buy the Anna pattern so much after seeing the dresses made from it here but I found this one on the 99 cent sale at Hancocks.
