I am part of the Design cub on my campus, and we want to have an end-of-the-year party. We are all fashion design, interior design, and home ec majors. I was thinking like a movie/craft night, but i don't know what to do or what movie to watch. Any ideas??

I wish our school had had a Design club...us Interior folks never got to see the fashion people.  All we got were the architecture guys.  They were cool, though.

I think the best thing we ever did was make horribly tacky tee-shirts.  It's something about the rebellion of making something so completely hideous, when your future (or current) profession is to make something that's at least pleasing.  Cooking as a group can also be fun, if you're inventive about it.  Imagine making a skyscraper cake, or candy dresses.  I can't think of any suitable movies to watch, unless you go for something really visually intense.  Or rent a season of Project Runway and have your own crit sessions with it.

Oh sweet ideas! I love the one about the hideous shirts. It sounds fun. I was thinking about getting the project runway seasons...but I thought that something like the devil wears prada would be good too! Thanks so much!
