Where do you go for your goodies? Like fabrics, bits and bats like buttons? I use ebay etc but of course love browsing and shopping...just wondered!!

McCullough and Wallis (off Oxford St) (fabric and trimmings)

John Lewis (bo-ring, since they have reduced much of their habby stock)

there's a cute trimmings shop off Sloane Square (don't remember which road it's on)

Hobbycraft (Watford or Greenford)

Liberty's is nice to browse, but I've never bought.

The Bead Shop - Covent Garden off seven dials (it's on a map at seven dials)

can't think of many others off the top of my head! HTH

it is located at Unit 2.8 Kingly Court off Carnaby Street (second floor)
They have a sale going on until 13th of April (-20%)

Peter Jones (Sloane Squ.) also sells haberdashery, but last time I've been there the selection wasn't as great as usual (at least not for yarn, which I was searching for)

If you are a knitter, you will love iKnit http://www.iknit.org.uk/ I haven't been to their new shop yet, but their selection at the old one was great (and the atmosphere was very friendly)

Hi - I've literally just joined Craftster so that I can tell you about a shop I recently discovered (well, an assistant in Libertys told me about it) in London and fell in love with instantly - it's the Cloth House in Soho and it's just filled with beautiful fabrics and bits and bobs - http://www.clothhouse.com/

when i buy fabric I always go to goldhawk road(hammersmith and city line) it has about five or six fabric shops that sell everything from cashmere suiting to silk paper fabric all at very cheap prices. this is also where most fashion student etc buy there fabric from.

for yarn I go to Prickyourfinger (bethnal green) loop (islington) and the handweavers studio (walthamstow)

Not central London but I always shop at Rolls n Rems in Lewisham... two floors jam packed with every material, buttons and ribbon etc you could possibly dream of and at a really reasonable price too!

I used to go to the Wimbledon Sewing Centre on Balham High Road
