Those are some great hats! Did you come up with the pattern yourself or use one from someplace?

And hasn't the weather been insane this year? I swear, on Saturday I was certain the ice age had come when it just kept snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing...  Grin And guess what... we're supposed to get more snow again! Argh!!! LOL!

BTW - your model is adorable! *grin*

hehe thanks everyone Smiley i just freestyled all of them except the white one, which i got off here Smiley

and yeah, tell me about it >_< the insides of my boots have actually been worn away so bad because i've worn them so frequently this year  Angry

i think you should definitely go for it Smiley if you can learn to crochet in the round, then you're basically all set Smiley if you'd like a tutorial for anything specific, then just let me know and i'll try my best to remember  Cheesy

YES PLEASE!  I commented earlier, you may remember me.  Smiley   Anyways I finally retaught myself how to crochet and have been looking for a good ear flap hat pattern and just have not found one that looked as good as this.  Yet again the first hat is my absolute favorite!  Cheesy

I like the first hat the best myself. I don't even live in the frozen tundra and I need a little more warmth than that when I lived in a colder clime. Here in SacTown it usually doesn't get less than 32 and I'm not outside at night. Tute please.
Could you give me some measurements or basic tute for the ipod cozy also? I was thinking of making one for a friend but don't know the size of the thing. Maybe I can get dimensions off the www.

Yep, basically the ipod cozy is using the seamless crochet technique (it's on here somewhere i think) and it's 12 stitches across plus 2 (for turning compensation) - i used hdc for the whole thing and when i got to the top, i ended at the edge (where you turn) and crocheted back about 6 stitches (still hdc) - Then I just did the 6 stitches back and forth another 2-3 rows. Next, (for the next row) I did 2 hdc, then two slip stitches, and 2 hdc in the last of the 6 stitches to create the button whole. The final bit is just one or 2 more rows of hdc Smiley

I lined the whole thing in felt and added the felt applique afterwards (this bit is a pain in the butt)

I'll try to get a tutorial/pattern up for the first hat asap Smiley thanks for the responses everyone ^^
