The new knitty is up and there are three patterns that I love. This is the one I want to do first.

I think it will be super fast. Anyone else want to make this one?

I'm seriously thinking about it...  Grin  I have some other stuff to finish up first though.  What a bummer.   Tongue

I really want to do this.  I'm trying to start projects I dont need new yarn for though.  What yarn do you plan on using?  I'm wondering if I need a thick weight. That gauge is pretty big.

I am using Lion brand wool ease thick and quick. I started yesterday afternoon and I'm almost done. So it's a super quick knit.

I'm not sure I want such a bulky yarn for this, so am
toying with making a bigger size than I need but with thinner yarn,
so that it all balances out....
(plus I really really don't need to buy any yarn ATM...need to
USE UP STASH)
So I guess it's officially on my to-do list, but am not quite ready
to cast on just yet...

Thats exactly what I was thinking.  I am moving across country in July and I need to STASHBUST before I leave. I have some Patons wool.  It's a pretty substantial worsted.  Maybe I could just do the math for a smaller gauge or make a size too big.  Hmmmm......

I'm making this right now! The yarn i'm using is a bit blah (black bulky merino/polyamid blend), but I *need* to use these old yarns I've been holding on to. So far so good, I'm about mid-way through the back...

I'm in. I've got a crapload of Caron Simply Soft that I could triple-strand, so... it'll take care of all that.
