Some day I'd like to make an entire layer cake for my cake stand. Either knit or crochet.

Until then, this was easy and fun to do.

I found I only needed to make 3 curls on the frosting decoration.

That is so cute!  It makes me want to learn how to knit.  I have tons of vintage glassware, and suddenly I think it all looks very lonely without adorable knit food to keep it company.

And yes, somehow it goes with vintage. Maybe that's why I added that old little pitcher to the picture. It just seemed to go with the cake.  Smiley
