I started these squares in... gah... 2005, and was motivated to finish it more recently by an impending trip to visit my family, because it was always intended for my mother.



I have since washed and de-threaded it (I'm so frakkin happy it survived the wash you don't even know) but I couldn't take a decent new pic of it without putting it on the floor again, and it's all squeaky clean so....

Anyway, there it is. My first quilt, and will probably be my last - I do indeed bow to the rest of you, it's quite a project.

That's beautiful! I've always wanted to do a rainbow quilt Smiley And every time I make a quilt I say it's the last one, but then I get sucked into another one. XD
