I made this for my tiny one's room.  I hung it over his changing table.  And even though he's only a month old, he's already mesmerized by it.

I think I may have made it a bit too big.  Our ceilings are pretty low and his room it small so I think it's a bit overpowering.  I will probably leave it hanging for a few days to see if I like it or not.  My husband says he thinks it's "creepy" but couldn't really explain why....

I was totally inspired by this one I saw on etsy.  I would have bought one from her but I can't really afford it.

What a pretty, earthy mobile.  I find it quite soothing myself.  I hate commercial Disney Baby and Pooh mobiles, but this is such a refreshing option.  Those colors are lovely too - they remind me of beach glass.  I may even make one to hang in my reading nook since I don't have a baby!

I totally love it! I would have made the strips shorter if I had a low ceiling but I think it's amazing!
I'm adding this to my wist.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Oooh, thanks Eliea, I've never been wisted before!  Well, at least not that I am aware...

To keep in proportion with the size of the wreath I chose the ribbons needed to be this long.  That's part of the reason why I am thinking of making it again with a smaller wreath.  That way I can make the ribbons shorter and still have it look alright.
