Finished Sleeve and body



In Progress Pic shows main body and sleeve



Inspired by a Hockey team jacket for infants on the Colorado Avalanche's website I designed this little baby sweater.  It measures out to be 6-9 months and colors can be suited to fit your team colors.

CHEY"S LITTLE HOCKEY SWEATER

Hook Size H
Yarn  -   Red Heart Super Saver in Blue, Red, and White

Ch. 50

Row 1:
dc in 4th ch from hook and next eight chs, work 3 dc in next ch (this forms the corner), dc in next 6 stitches, 3 dc in next stitch (corner), dc in next 12 stitches, 3 dc in next stitch (corner), dc in next 6 stitches, 3 dc in next stitch (corner), dc in final 10 stitches. turn

Row 2-9:
ch 3 (will count as first dc throughout pattern)  dc in each st working 3 dc in the center stitch of each or the corners. turn

Row 10:
ch.3 dc in each st to first corner placing last stitch in the center stitch of the corner, ch.5, dc in center stitch of the second corner, dc across to 3rd corner placing final stitch in the center stitch, ch. 5, dc in the center stitch of the 4th corner and each st until end. turn

Row 11-21
ch.3 , dc in each stitch across

Row 22
ch.3 work fpdc in next stitch, work bpdc in next stitch, work fpdc in next stitch, work bpdc in next stitch, continue working alternating fpdc and bpdc until end finish off

SLEEVES

Row 1
Join white yarn at center stitch at bottom of arm hole, ch.1, work sc around arm hole and join to ch.1
Row 2
Join red yarn ch.3 work dc around arm join to ch.3
Row 3
ch.3 work dc around arm hole join to ch.3
Row 4
repeat row 1
Row 5
ch.3  work dc aound arm hole and join to ch.3
Row 6
repeat row 2
Row 7
repeat row 1
Row 8-11
join blue yarn at center stitch at bottom of arm hole, ch.2 work dc around and join to ch.3
Row 12-13
ch.3, work fpdc in next stitch, work bpdc in next stitch, continue to work alternating fpdc and bpdc and join to ch.3  finish off after row 13

Repeat for other sleeve.

FINISHING

Overlap front flaps and place 1/2 buttons on bottom flap at desired intervals and use stitches on top flap as buttonholes.
