I want to hand embroider initials on pashminas for my bridal party. Has anyone tried embroidering on pashminas? Is it difficult, will I need stabilizer?

Mmmm. I've never tried it, but I have embroidered on a moth eaten cashmere sweater- the outside is beautiful, but the inside is pretty ugly because I wasn't careful about the knots. I did not use stabilizer at all and I found it pretty easy to do satin stitch, back stitch, and figured out a little trick for french knots.

I think it should work, but that's just a guess. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!
