i am sooo jealous of that pincushion in the box!  i need something like that to hide my pins from my kitties!

Lily seems to be over that phase. I freaked the first time she grabbed one, which just made her take off with it. I did get it back, however; and she wasn't harmed!

everything together (her favorite color is magenta):

crocheted cat:

magnets (i think they look better in the group shot):

stitch markers:

headband:

knitting needle roll:

sigh... i know it may be a bit selfish but i just feel unappreciated.   Undecided

thats some awesome stuff lindseycore! your partner is so lucky to have received all that stuff (even though she hasnt said anything. man thats rough). i love that needle roll! im pretty envious of most needle rolls actually since i'm a knitter who still needs to keep all her needles in a small rubbermaid tote. its pretty lame. the cat is incredibly adorable too!

I would feel the same way. It's not selfish at all. It's obvious that you put A LOT of time and thought into that package! It's really amazing. I would have LOVED every single thing. I'm sorry you didn't get a response. I would have been hurt.

I'm glad you posted pics, however. I love to see how amazingly talented people are!

I know this is one of your first swaps, but don't let it discourage you.

Check out the OWS 33. It slows down mid to late month, but it's an awesome swap, and it has really become a group of friends. I'd love to see you there. PM me if you have any questions.

Oh, and I've done SMALL crocheted animals before, and they TAKE FOREVER!!! That cat would be like a super-duper-extra-large. You did such an amazing job! I love it's face!!!

thank you guys... and i should clarify, she did PM me to say thank you at least.  but throughout this whole swap she never posted a single message in either thread.  i just don't get it.  sigh.  oh well, what can you do.

and nofury, i know you love love love the OWS.  Smiley  i am currently finishing up another swap and may actually try organizing one in may, so i don't want to get involved in too much at once.  i read the OWS thread and it seems slightly complicated but definitely seems fun.  i'm going to keep an eye on it.  Smiley

oh and yes, the cat did take probably longer than a medium should... the worst part was stuffing the skinny little arms and legs, what a pain!

I do LOVE it, and it's great to do with other swaps. When you're too busy, don't claim. When you're a bit free: CLAIM. It's really easy. I was a bit intimidated when I first saw it. I just made one claim at first and worked slowly.

Now that I see what great stuff you do, I really want you in that swap so you can claim me!!! You could make another kitty that looks like my kitty!!!! lol

aww hehe.  well i can send in info and then just not claim someone if i don't have the time right?  or if i want to hang out and claim a certain person?  is it ok if i just end up being too busy for the month and don't make any claims?
