This all started with my addiction to craft magazines. I just could never could get rid of them. The problem is I don't paper craft, crochet or knit so I would end up with a magazine with only 1 or 2 projects that I really liked. So I came up with a may to reduce the clutter and make things more organized.
This was just a plain white binder that I made a covered with a t-shirt I loved that DD couldn't wear anymore.

I separated the sections by category:

I used magnetic photo pages to put small project ideas and pics I liked:

I used page savers for projects that were multiple pages and patterns:

I swear I went from 3 stacks of magazines to one book. Plus I can change them out when I've tried them and I don't need them anymore.

Exactly!

I love it! But am I the only one who wants to know....how did you attach the cover?

I'd like to do something like this for my quilt mags. ohhh, and what a pretty way to keep sewing patterns neat, too!

Hey thanks everyone.
When I was a kid my mom would cover photo albums all the time and sell them at craft shows. I could do this in my sleep.

I'll do a tut later on tonight or tomorrow.
I just tried to type it out and it didn't make sense at all.

I did this a while back!
well not the cover.  but the binder.  But on a much bigger scale.  Cause I am addicted to ALL magazines.

I have:
craft binder
interior design binder
fashion binder
recipe binder
wedding binder

I still have 4 years of lucky I couldnt bear to tear up and some blueprints that I havent gotten to.
It significantly cuts down on magazine bulk when you get rid of all the ads and projects and articles that are of no interest.

I just have a plain old white binder with mine in it.  It's so full though, I need a 2nd one.  I need to spiff mine up with a cover.  Great idea.
