I bought my DS specifically to play the new Zelda game, and so it seemed fitting that my DS case feature the little fairy from my very favorite Zelda game, Ocarina of Time.

And so, I present you with Navi the fairy:

The little white and blue specks around the sides are supposed to be fairy dust.  This was my first attempt at both designing my own chart and working intarsia.  It worked ok, and now my pretty cobalt DS has a nice, cozy home.  Smiley

Thanks for looking, and happy knitting!

I love this!

I liked the fairies better when you couldn't see their faces all sad in the jar when you caught them... haha

Cool; what kind of closure does the cozy have?

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

you can't really tell from the pic, but over on the left side is the flap.  it's got a buttonhole in it for a button (which I have yet to attach) on the back side of the case

Love this! Ok, but I'm partial to anything Zelda-related, really :-D I think that is a great 1st chart/1st intarsia! Keep up the great work and the Zelda knitting! :-D
